US Cellular Web Only special to include free phones and activation credits

A new “limited time” web-only promotion from US Cellular kicked off yesterday to include a $100 activation credit for customers activating any plan and any device. Several Android devices are also marked down during this promotion.

The Huawei Ascend II and the HTC Wildfire S are both free at the moment, while the HTC Hero S is a measly $29.99 on a new contract. Remember this is an online purchase only promotion. They will waive the activation fee and include free shipping.

Customers are also eligible for U.S. Cellular’s Trade-In Program which could get you up to $150 on qualifying smartphones.

U.S. Cellular offers customers the only points-based rewards program in the industry to get benefits for doing simple things like paying their wireless bill on time, adding a line or referring friends and family. It’s one of the reasons U.S. Cellular has the happiest customers in wireless.

The HTC Hero S for cheap looks like the way to go, a 1.2ghz on a 4″ SLCD display wouldn’t be a bad thing at all. Head on over to US Cellular to learn more.
