Verizon lists 4G LTE devices scheduled to receive Ice Cream Sandwich

Verizon has officially put together a list of devices expected to see an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.  Although they don’t outline any particular dates or specifics, we do have a clear idea as to where the carrier will focus its efforts.  Much of the list matches up with other stuff we’ve heard along the way, however it’s nice to see a wireless provider step up to the plate.

HTC:

  • HTC ThunderBolt™
  • DROID Incredible 2 by HTC
  • HTC Rhyme™
  • HTC Rezound™

Motorola:

  • Motorola XOOM
  • DROID BIONIC™
  • DROID RAZR™
  • DROID RAZR™ MAXX™
  • DROID 4
  • DROID XYBOARD 8.2
  • DROID XYBOARD 10.1

Samsung:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 10.1
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 7.7

LG:

  • Spectrum™ by LG

It’s worth noting that each of the devices listed here are 4G LTE-ready products and that “older” models (read: 3G only) are left off, for now.  We’re advised to follow @VZWNews on Twitter for additional upgrade announcements as they become more clear.
