HTC confirms 16 Android handsets for Ice Cream Sandwich

HTC today outlined the full list of Android smartphones confirmed to receive a 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.  In a post on the company’s new blog, Global Community Manager Darren Krape spelled out the 16 models which will see Android 4.0 over the coming weeks and months.  The list is a bit longer than the last time we checked in and pretty much in line with what we’d expect to see out HTC.  Keep in mind that timing will vary from market to market and depending on how willing a carrier is to play ball.

I don’t know the HTC models that well as i am a Motorola owner .

What is the oldest model on this list ? I am asking since it seems that Motorola is not going to put ICS on any device older then about 9-12 months. This has made me reconsider the manufacturer for my next phone . We have to sign 2 year contracts and i want my next phone to be suppored for 2 years .

    thanks

The Thunderbolt is pretty old. I got mine on the day they were released, March 19th 2011, one year ago.
