Eldar Murtazin: GSIII design finalized, everyone wants a piece of the pie

With all the rumors about the next flagship member of Samsung’s popular Galaxy line, the lines between reality and fantasy, at times, become blurred as our desire for something bigger, faster, and more powerful outweighs any thought of overall practicality. But according to Eldar Murtazin, the design is finalized, and EVERY carrier wants as many as they can get their hands on. His tweet, shown below, is evidence to that.

Other news of the SIII from Murtazin puts the device in a league all its own, being the first phone to sport a quad-core processor, at only 7 mm thin, with a 4.8-inch HD display. But above all else, the two most exciting aspects of this machine are as follows:

First, the Galaxy line will be stepping up from the cheapy plastic ways of the past, as Sammy will build the third with a ceramic chassis. Second, Eldar has confirmed that we can expect the release by this June. Of course, Eldar is only one man, and we’ve heard no word from Samsung on if any of this is credible, so we’ll just have to sit here and twiddle our thumbs until we hear some concrete information.

That notwithstanding, is anyone else as excited as I am? Drop a comment below!

If ceramic is going to increase the weight or the risk of breaking, I prefer plastic. Why try to fix what’s not broken?
Make a Galaxy Ceramic edition for those that want it, but leave the option of lightwight and somewhat flexible (and not breakable) top of the line Galaxy phone for best specs, and not best looking paper weight.

    • Ceramic believe it or not, somehow is more durable then plastic. I thought like you as well, but after I did some research I realized ceramic is stronger then stainless steel.

Excuse my ignorance but who is
Eldar Murtazin and why should his tweets bear more credence than any of the countless rumours previously released.
Personally I shall wait for the Samsung announcement.

P.S. Just hear that the SGIII shall feature a quad core GPU and CPU along with a 16Mb lens. (well 2 can play at that game!)

I’m afraid as all previous rumours this one (had I not responded here) will be passing me by and consigned to the waste paper basket.

@ Mike Silva. A silicon nitride (ceramic) ball bearing is second in hardness only to diamonds and is 30% lighter than most plastics, so I wouldn’t worry too much about the SIII case’s durability.
