10-inch Acer Iconia Tab a510 officially debuts in U.S. and Canada

Acer has officially announced that their Tegra 3-powered 10.1-inch Android tablet, the Iconia Tab a510, is now available in the United States and Canada. ¬†Initially unveiled early in the year, this marks the company’s first Android tablet to feature a quad-core processor. Specifications include 1GB RAM, 10.1-inch 1280×800 display, a 5-megapixel camera on the rear, and a battery rated at 12 hours of video playback.

The Iconia Tab a510 will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a few Acer enhancements however the exact timing remains unclear. If you’re interested in placing an order for one of these $450 tablets, you are encouraged to check various retail outlets.
