T-Mobile making noise around Android 4.0 updates for Sensation 4G, Amaze 4G

T-Mobile has announced, albeit unofficially, that their HTC Amaze 4G and HTC Sensation 4G will be soon seeing Android 4.0 updates.  The news comes by way of T-Mobile support pages for each device and stops short of giving us expected dates for rollout.

HTC has already committed to an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for both handsets so this would not be considered news in and of itself.  The takeaway here is that T-Mobile appears to be readying things on their side and could be ready to pull the trigger.  As of right now, there have been a very low number of smartphones updated to Android 4.0 so we’re fully expecting a floodgate over the next few weeks and months.
