Wirefly offering $40 credit for each Verizon upgrade, activation

Wirefly just pinged us to advise that they are offering a limited-time promotion for Verizon customers looking for a 4G LTE handset. Starting today and running through May 24, any new activations or qualified upgrade will get a $40 credit on a future wireless bill.  The limit is set at five so feel free to grab one for each of your family members.

This is a perfect opportunity to try and beat Verizon’s nixing of your grandfathered unlimited data plan.  Should current customers find that they won’t be retroactively switched over to a 4G LTE plan then you’ll have won on two fronts – potentially retaining unlimited data and scoring $40 credits in the process.
