Android 4.0.4 approved for Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus

Verizon has approved a new software update for their Samsung Galaxy Nexus and looks to be deploying the release immediately.  A support page for the handset has gone live and details what is found in the IMM76K Android 4.0.4 update as well as how to download and install said file.  This isn’t a major release and really doesn’t add a ton of functionality to the handset however it should clear up some of the problems you might experience from time to time. We’ve heard from some of you that the update is available now so be sure to check your Galaxy Nexus.
