ViewSonic introduces 22-Inch Android Smart Display at Computex
We gave you a little information a few days ago that ViewSonic will be launching a new Android machine at Computex 2012. Today is the day and they’ve introduced the ViewSonic Android Smart Display VCD22 – which is a 22-inch 1080p Android 4.0 powered all-in-one machine. It actually sounds like a good alternative to a desktop experience however I am not sure you how it plays out when used on your lap. About the specs, it comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The touch response appears to be really good and smooth, and it’s running the stock version of Android 4.0.
Though the source mentioned that the display has poor viewing angles and contrast, but it’s a good device if you want to use it at home as an educational or entertainment unit. With price tag of only $479, I don’t think so this machine is a bad deal after all. Anyway, tell us what do you think about it in the comment box below.
