Viggle for Android out of Beta, earns you rewards for being a couch potato

Viggle is an app that lets you check in from your couch to what TV show you’re watching. It’s been a great success on iOS, and is now out of beta for Android and ready to reward your TV watching.

The app works by listening to your TV audio on command, detecting what show you’re watching by comparing the audio to a database, and then rewarding the user for watching said show. Some promoted shows will get you even more points. The points are then redeemed for things like Starbucks cards, HULU Plus subscriptions, movie tickets, and more.

To make things even better, Viggle is celebrating its launch by giving away a million points… enough for 133 Starbucks cards, 46 movie tickets, or over 300 RedBox rentals. You’ll have to be quick, however, because that contest ends today.

Be sure to check Viggle out in the Play Store here.
