Sony rumored to refresh Xperia S with Xperia SL

A Sony Xperia SL has been spotted online, hinting at a refreshed version of the Xperia S for later in the year.  Bearing a LT26ii model number, it is strikingly similar to the LT26i that accompanies the Xperia S.  Thus far the details are still a mystery however we suspect a chief difference will be in the form of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.1 Jelly Bean preloaded.

The Xperia S was, and still is, a very powerful device, with feature such as a 4.3-inch (1280×720) display, 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, and 12.1-megapixel camera.  We wouldn’t mind 2GB RAM for the Xperia SL nor would we turn our nose at a little quad-core action either.
