First Sony Xperia J images leak online

A pair of  images for an upcoming Sony handset have landed online, giving us our first look at yet another Xperia model on the horizon.  Dubbed the Xperia J, this ST26 looks to feature some entry-level to mid-range hardware, including a single-core 1GHz CPU and 480×854 resolution display.  According to recently leaked benchmarks, the Xperia J will run Android 4.0.4 when it debuts, presumably in the coming months.

Notice how the smartphone appears to be void of any green Xperia logo or branding?  Perhaps this is the handset the signals the transition away from the Sony Ericsson stuff of yesterday and the start of a SONY-only branding.
