LG preparing LG Optimus Vu 2 to compete with Galaxy Note II?
A few months ago, LG introduced the LG Optimus Vu which was launched to compete with the famous Galaxy Note. Both are almost the same in size and specs, but lets face it: that Galaxy Note was the dominant one. LG is not deciding to sit back and relax however, as the rumor on the street is that the Korean giant will launch the LG Optimus Vu 2 in the same time frame as Samsung release of the anticipated Galaxy Note II.
Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Note II somewhere in September, so it means that we will see the Optimus Vu 2 in August or September as well. It’s expected that the Optimus Vu 2 will feature a 5-inch 4:3 1024×768 touchscreen (same as Optimus Vu), a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, and will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Anyway, nothing is written in stone, so just take this rumor with a grain of salt and wait for the day when LG will officially clear the air.
Just as the Note was a hit, I am pretty sure that the Galaxy Note II will be a stunner smartphone, but will the LG Optimus Vu 2 be good enough to take it down? Tell us your thoughts in the comment box below.
