Software update brings Google Wallet to the Nexus 7
Earlier, we reported that a software update was going out to the I/O editions of the Nexus 7. Now, Google has announced that all Nexus 7 devices are receiving the update, and it includes the addition of Google Wallet. According to Google, the update is currently being pushed out, so you can be on the lookout for yours. Keep in mind that, while rooted devices are not officially supported, they should work without issue.
