HTC: Remaining Android 4.0 updates due by end of August

HTC expects to wrap up their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates by the end of August, according to a company representative. A member of the HTC Facebook team, answering a question from a fan, indicated the final handset updates should be rolled out in the coming weeks.  After hitting us with a rapid succession of 4.0 there are only a couple of models left to see their desserts, including the Rhyme, Desire S, Incredible 2, and Thunderbolt.   Sounds like we should expect to hear an announcement from HTC or Verizon pretty soon.

By announcement you clearly mean HTC suddenly informing us that they WON’T be bringing ICS to these devices due to some hardware restrictions or some such nonsense?
