Sony introduces Xperia SL

Sony today introduced its next Android smartphone, the Xperia SL, however they weren’t quite ready to divulge its release date, pricing, or expected markets.

Specifications for the Xperia SL are right in line with most of today’s Android handsets, and include a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 chip, a 4.3-inch 1278×720 TFT display, 1GB RAM, and a 12.1-megapixel camera with auto focus.

We don’t know where this model will eventually arrive however we’d be very surprised if it came to the United States with a carrier.
