Verizon prepping for LG Spectrum 2, Samsung Stratosphere II

Yet another pair of Verizon smartphones have hit the proverbial radar, with word of new Samsung and LG models.  While details are light at this time, we can look for Verizon to debut the Samsung Stratosphere II and LG Spectrum 2 in the near future.

The Samsung Stratosphere II is expected to offer consumers a sliding QWERTY keyboard experience with a 4.0-inch Super AMOLED display and presumably Android 4.0.  Droid Life suggests that the handset will also boast the Snapdragon S4 processor, common among Verizon’s 4G LTE devices.

As for the LG Revolution 2, the specs are pieced together from a variety of benchmarks and other leaks.  Indeed, the handset should feature a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, an HD display, and an 8-megapixel camera.  In other words, par for the Android course.
