If you thought Samsung was going to sit back and get comfortable with the releases of the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III  you were wrong.  New details have emerged for no less than three upcoming Samsung models which could hit markets in the coming months. Looks like it is time to start tracking a Galaxy S III Mini, Galaxy S II Plus, and a Galaxy Premier.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S III Mini is planned for release in 2012 and will offer consumers a 5-megapixel camera, dual-core processor, and a 4.0-inch SuperAMOLED display.  Designed to compete with the iPhone 5, this model is rumored to retail for 250 euro while Apple’s flagship may fetch 650 euros.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Plus is said to come with a 4.3-inch SuperAMOLED Plus display, a 1GHz single-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera, and come in 16GB and 32GB capacities.  The handset should run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, feature a microSD slot, and come in blue and grey color options.  Strange stuff if you ask us, what with the single-core processor instead of the dual-core stuff.

As for the Galaxy Premier, SamMobile tells us that the model number is GT-i9260 and that it will be largely identical to the Galaxy S II Plus save for a larger 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean experience.

Considering all we know at this point, it’s a bit premature to start talking carriers and U.S. availability.  That said, is there anything above that excites you?
