Huawei intros ‘fashion forward’ MediaPad 7 Lite

Huawei announced at IFA that they’ve got a 7-inch tablet for those of you with eye for both fashion and function. Called the MediaPad 7 Lite, the device runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 7-inch 1024×600 IPS display, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and pair (3.2-megapixel rear, .3-megapixel front-facing) of cameras.

“Good things come in small packages. The MediaPad 7 Lite is our answer to consumers’ demands for a good-looking, portable high-performance tablet at a price that makes sense for them. The MediaPad 7 Lite is consumers’ perfect entertainment and communications companion,” said Richard Yu, Chairman of Huawei Device.

Expected to start shipping to China, Russia, Taiwan, and other parts of the world in September, the Media Pad Lite also comes with microSD expansion, 3G and Wi-Fi connections, and a 4100mAh battery.  Look for pricing once we get closer to release dates.
