The official Netflix app for Android has been updated today and it brings a key, long-desired feature.  Now, users can toggle a setting which tells the app to only work over W-Fi networks.  This doesn’t sound like all that big of a deal, but it will go a long way to keeping your data plans in check.  Should be less fear about seeing that shared data plan bill, right?

We know many of you love to watch Netflix on your Android smartphones and tablets. We just launched a new feature where you can select to playback on Wi-Fi networks only.
