[Update: leak turns out to be concept] Press-ready HTC One X 5 images leaks online
Alright, this is getting pretty interesting, pretty darn fast. A seemingly press-ready image of an HTC One X 5 has leaked online, and it looks eerily similar to the recently outed handset rumored for Verizon. But wait, I thought that was going to be the Droid Incredible X? Well, chances are good that this may still be the case if and when it comes to Verizon. For the rest of the world, and potentially other U.S. carriers, it looks to be a 5-inch, turbo-charged version of the One X series.
Update: It appears that despite the photo above being very similar to a press image, it is in fact a mockup of what the device will look like. Also, there is still speculation as to what HTC’s 5-inch phablet will be called. We’ve seen it referred to as the One X 5 and the Droid Incredible X, so the name is somewhat up in the air at the moment.
The mockup itself is very official-looking, and the concept also comes with some specs that we’ve seen over the past few weeks: quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, and Jelly Bean with some unknown version of Sense (most likely Sense 5.0).
