Acer introduces 7-inch Iconia Tab A110

Acer today unveiled its latest tablet, the 7-inch Android 4.1-powered Iconia Tab A110.  Details include a 1.2GHz quad-core (Tegra 3) processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and a 2-megapixel camera.  As an almost direct competitor to the Nexus 7, the Iconia Tab A110 also boasts a 3420mAh batter, microSD expansion, HDMI, and a microUSB 2.0 port.  Whereas some of these features might give the Acer an edge, the lower (1024×600) resolution display might be a turnoff for a few users.

Acer hasn’t declared if or when the United States will get the Iconia Tab A110 however it is expected to launch in the UK with a £179.99 (approx. $292 US) price tag.
