Galaxy Note II may sell three times faster than predecessor

Samsung believes that the Galaxy Note II may sell up to three times faster than its predecessor over the course of the first 90 days.  Thanks to a partnership of more than 260 carriers across 128 markets, there’s going to be a much bigger presence for the 5.5-inch smartphone that pulls double duty as a tablet.  Figures are expected to be higher than 20 million for the next big, big thing and Samsung certainly doesn’t seem daunted by the release of the iPhone 5.

Are you planning to pick up the Galaxy Note II when it comes to your respective carrier?  Why or why not?  We’d love to hear your feedback on the big, bad handset.

I really do want one but it looks like it just gonna be too damn big and unwieldy. Anyone have the first version? Does it fit in you pocket?

I carry one in my front pocket all the time, but I wear shorts with fairly large pockets. You might have trouble with some brands of tight fitting jeans. And the II is going to be narrower than the original.

If you are worried about its size its not the phone for you. Its for people who dont care how big it is, but what it can do.

To answer about the pocket: I have seen small women wearing not TOO tight jeans with them in their FRONT pocket, not the back one. Sitting on it is NOT good for it.
