T-Mobile USA’s parent company, Deutsche Telekom, has confirmed that they do hope to finalize a deal that will see them merging with/buying out MetroPCS.  Advising in a regulatory filing, DT says that the aim of the deal would be to operate both T-Mobile USA and MetroPCS ”within one company in which Deutsche Telekom would hold the majority of shares.”

From the sounds of it, we could be less than a day away from Deutsche Telekom making an announcement  that they have come to terms with all parties.
