Those of you who have prepaid cards through Google Wallet are advised to request your refunds, as the feature is headed off into the sunset.  The process for obtaining your money isn’t all that difficult and requires just a few bits of information.  There’s a dedicated page setup for users to process their refund with credits coming back in the form of a check or prepaid Mastercard.

What is needed to obtain a refund?

1. Email address associated with your Google Wallet account
2. Device ID
3. IMEI or MEID

Refund processing begins October 30th, 2012, after which you can expect to receive a prepaid card within 7-10 business days. A check will arrive in approximately 8 weeks.
