Acer prices 7-inch Iconia Tab A110 at $230

Acer today priced and dated its latest tablet, the 7-inch Iconia Tab A110, announcing it for sale starting October 30.  Priced at $229, the tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a quad-core Tegra 3 processor,  1024×600-pixel-resolution 7-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, microSD expansion, microUSB 2.0, and  micro-HDMI.  Rounding things out, the Iconia Tab A110 features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, and, of course, Wi-Fi connectivty.

Priced slightly higher than other 7-inch tablets of its kind, Acer’s tablet will have a tough go at things. Seeing as how there’s no HD display present, the Iconia Tab A110 will not “look” as nice as its competition.

Dell Announces Two New Phones for India

Dell has become quite famous in the Android-scene with the Dell Streak, but their phones dind’t really shock the market. They’re trying it again with the XCD28 and the XCD35 and it probably won’t be a success. They’re ugly, no matter how you look at it. The specifications won’t stimulate people to buy them either, they’re running on an outdated processor architecture, the ARM11 core on 600 MHz, combined with 256MB RAM, these little babies might even be two of the worst phones available right now.

Yes, it has expandable storage….but it doesn’t have an HD screen. I’d rather wait on the 32GB Nexus 7.
