Sprint adds another 32 markets to growing LTE network

Sprint today announced that its LTE network has continued to expand, and now cover parts of Chicago’s surrounding areas (Chicagoland), as well as markets in Texas, Massachusetts, and Kansas.  Racing to catch up to its competition, Sprint’s 4G LTE footprint is now over 32 markets with another 115 cities coming over the next months.

As of today, Verizon’s 4G LTE network encapsulates 400+ markets whereas AT&T has 90 markets of its own.  Considering Sprint just started deployment in July, they are well on their way to catching Ma Bell.
