Amazon halves price of select Angry Birds titles ahead of Star Wars release

With but two days to go before Angry Birds Star Wars arrives, Amazon has discounted the price of the existing Rovio titles. Starting today and running through 11:59PM PT, November 7, you can grab  Angry Birds HD, Angry Birds Space HD and Angry Birds Rio HD for a buck fifty.  Normally priced at $2.99 a piece, this is a 50 percent savings across each game.

Looking ahead to the November 8 Angry Birds Star Wars release, Amazon plans to offer the HD version for $2.99 and the standard edition for 99¢ at 12:01AM.
