Sony Xperia V pushed to January but will get Android 4.1, price drop

Sony has pushed the release of its Android-powered Xperia V back to January, according to the company’s official Xperia France Twitter account.  It’s not all that bad, however, as the device will be getting a minor price cut and software update.  Now, instead of arriving with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Xperia V will debut with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.  Pricing, will drop from its originally planned €549 sticker down a bit to €529.  No word yet as to which carriers will be getting the handset nor what the exact timing will be.
