Following Sprint’s lead, T-Mobile has become the second carrier to see an Android 4.1 update roll out for the Samsung Galaxy S III. The wireless provider has released details for the Jelly Bean update, advising it has started deploying today, November 14. If you own a T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy S III then you’ll find there are two ways in which you can get your hot new platform build.

You can update in two ways:

  • Over the air (OTA) update to T999UVLJA: The update is available to download from T-Mobile.  It is recommended to connect over Wi-Fi to complete the update.See below steps to manually request the OTA update.
  • Manual download to T999UVLJA: If you did not want to update via OTA, you can update via Samsung Kies. Ensure you are on the latest version of Kies prior to attempting the update. Seehttp://www.samsung.com/us/kies/ to confirm the version.
