Sony Odin, Yuga specs suggest 5-inch displays in compact form factor

New details for the upcoming Sony Yuga and Sony Odin smartphones have surfaced, giving us an idea as to the dimensions for each device. Speaking of which, it’s now being reported that both models are largely the same design. The Yuga will be an Asian edition of the device and the Odin will be a global take on the 5-inch smartphone.

According to reports from XDA, the Yuga is ever so slightly taller than the Odin and features a waterproof body.   Both versions allegedly will come in a more compact design than the recently announced Droid DNA.  Both are expected to house Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5GHz processors, 2GB RAM, and Exmor camera sensors. The Yuga should come with a 2400mAh battery while the Odin gets a tad smaller 2300mAh power source.

Yuga – 138.6 x 71 x 8.1 – 140 grams – water resistant
Odin – 131.6 x 69.7 x 9.8 – 147 grams – IR remote
