Amazon updates Santa app for 2012

Amazon.com today announced the release of an updated Amazon Santa app (1.1) for Android, iOS, and Kindle Fire. Available for a few weeks now, this newly tweaked and free app lets users create interactive and custom Wish Lists for children. New features for the 2012 update include:

  • Browse and filter: Finding what you want just got easier. Amazon Santa now lets you filter by product category or brand.
  • More categories: In addition to toys, games, movies and TV shows, this year’s Amazon Santa app also features a wider range of sporting goods including bikes, skateboards and more.

Amazon Santa is a family-friendly app aimed at kids ages 3-11 and lets them search for and select gifts from an online catalog.  With access to thousands of toys, games, movies and TV shows, books, sporting goods and video games, it’s a great way for parents to learn what their children are asking for this year. What’s more, parents can also share the list with friends and relatives.
