Samsung SCH-S960L found in recent benchmarks
Yet another Samsung device has been detected in benchmarks on GLBenchmark website, this one a potentially high-end handset. A Samsung SCH-S960L has some rather impressive hardware specs, including a Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and a 1280×720 pixel display. Powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, the device does not appear to have made its way to the FCC as of yet.
It’s difficult to say for certain what the S960 is, especially given the limited known details. Keeping in mind that it is possible to fake these specs, it sounds like we might be in for a Galaxy S III-esque experience. Perhaps a smaller carrier is readying an announcement? On the other hand, this could be one of those rare one-off models that ends up in select markets.
