An unbreakable Samsung Galaxy S4?

Samsung has, for year, toyed with the idea of flexible and unbreakable display technology but thus far has yet to include in a mainstream handset. If a new Reuters report proves to be legit, the Samsung Galaxy S4 may employ such a display.

“Eventually, they’ll have unbreakable and flexible displays. Either the Galaxy S IV or S V will have unbreakable and even possibly flexible and foldable displays by 2014. That’s going to be a game-changer,” said Mark Newman, an analyst at Stanford Bernstein in Hong Kong.

Yes, but will it blend?

While we’re on the subject of Galaxy S4, the Reuters post adds a bit of weight to the rumored April launch. Not quite a year from the launch of the Galaxy S III, it wouldn’t anger us if we had the next, next big thing before school lets out.

They should combine this with some kind of waterproofing (like Liquipel or HzO). Such a phone might not be indestructible, but it would survive a large majority of common accidents.

Can’t wait for this technology to be put into our phones…However it is unlikely this would be ready in time for the galaxy s4.

I don’t think that Samsung will bring an unbreakable flexible Display to the Samsung GALAXY S4. For this Smartphone they will bring an FullHD-sAMOLED-diplay, and this is not flexible!
