Swiftkey Flow beta kicks off for Android

Swiftkey Flow beta kicks off for Android

PSST! Hey you.  Yeah, you. Wanna try out a new version of one of the best keyboard apps for Android? You’re gonna love it; Swiftkey Flow is the new beta that you need in your life. After having been teased for a while, the app has finally arrived in both smartphone and tablet form.

Most notably, SwiftKey Flow lets you write an entire sentence without letting go of the screen. All you need to do is pass your finger over the space bar between each word that you trace out. Let SwiftKey Flow do the rest, and you’ll see the words you want magically appear on the screen. We call this ‘Flow Through Space’.

If this sounds a bit like Swype or the keyboard that Android 4.2 employs, then you’re pretty close. Swiftkey, however, is much smarter in our opinion, and learns your writing styles and habits. Combining the dragging finger input with the genius sauce of Swiftkey is like a match made in heaven.

Download the version you need or want and put the beta to test. Make sure you are signed up for the SwiftKey VIP Community and are giving feedback to the developers. These guys depend on your experience and ideas to help shape the app, so do it.
