Samsung intros 5-inch Galaxy Grand for international markets

Samsung has today introduced another Android-based smartphone, this time in the form of   a 5-inch Galaxy Grand. Offered in both single-SIM (GT-I9080) and dual-SIM (GT-I9082) versions, the handset will likely find its home in European and or Asian markets.

Details include a 5-inch WVGA (480×800) display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB Internal storage, a rear 8-megapixel camera, and front-facing 2-megapixel camera. Powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI, the Galaxy Grand also features a 2100mAh battery and 21mbps HSPA+ connectivity.

Pricing and exact availability are not yet known so look for more details in the coming weeks.
