ZTE to launch a 5-inch low end phablet?

ZTE is working on a bunch of phones nowadays, and we showed you ZTE Nubia Z5, which will be ZTE’s next flagship device. They are also planning to launch a phablet as well, just to get in the ‘Galaxy Note’ line. Although they are not launching it with quad-core processor and a rocket launcher, except it will be a low-end Android powered 5-inch smartphone.

zte-u887Known as the ZTE U887, it features 5-inch 800 x 480 display, a dual-core 1.2GHz MT6577 chip, 512MB of RAM, dual-band – support for both TD-SCDMA and GSM networks, and a 5MP camera. Although this device would be a fair competition for Galaxy Grand, at least to some extent.

Though lets see when ZTE is planning to launch it, may be along with ZTE Nubia Z5. Would you prefer picking this huge device from ZTE, tell us about it in the comment box below.
