HTC One S international version receives Android 4.1.1

HTC confirmed back in July that HTC One S and other One series devices will receive the Android 4.1 a.k.a Jelly Bean update soon. And today is finally the day when the Android 4.1.1 is making its way to HTC One S. Although, rumor had it that it will be out somewhere in October, but still it is better late than never.

htc-one-s-jellybean-12-26-12-01The update is for international version of HTC One S, so people in US, UK or in other parts of the world with a carrier flavored phone, you have to wait for a green flag from your mobile network. HTC One X got the update last month, and from my personal experience, the One X is now much smoother and better in performance.

You can update your device OTA or just connect it to your PC. So folks, if you are using an unlocked HTC One S, and already rocking on Jelly Bean, don’t forget to share your experience with us in the comment box below.
