LG rumored to intro 5.5-inch Optimus G2 at CES
Grab your salt, Digitimes is back with another Android rumor. The site is today reporting that LG will introduce a 5.5-inch Optimus G2 at CES next week. Details are pretty scarce at this point however the device will reportedly employ the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Prime MSM8974 chip. Sounds like LG might have more than just 5.5-inch screens on display, but rather full-on devices.
Meanwhile, South Korea-based LG Electronics plans to showcase the Optimus G2 Android smartphone, with a 5.5-inch screen, and Qualcomm quad-core S4 Prime MSM8974.
We’ll be at CES next week and will be anxious to see what sort of hardware LG is cooking up for consumers in the early half of 2013. Moreover, we’re curious to learn if LG will introduce a successor to the Optimus G so quickly.
