DoubleTwist adds streaming radio functionality with MagicRadio

If you  love doubleTwist’s already stellar product, then you’ll love what they’ve got coming up next. The company is releasing “MagicRadio”, a music streaming service based on your tastes and preferences.

Magic Radio is being hyped as radio that not only plays off of your artist / album preferences, but on your actual musical tastes. According to one MagicRadio representative:

MagicRadio is a holistic music discovery experience that understands a user’s entire music taste and tailors stations to the user’s taste instead of a simplistic artist/song-based station. With over 13 million songs in the doubleTwist library, Magic Radio is fully integrated with consumers’ listening habits and offers personalized, near-infinite playlists of music they already love with music will love.

The service also integrates with doubleTwist’s new MagicPlay, an open source platform created in partnership with Qualcomm. MagicPlay allows users to stream music to any speaker or device, according to the company.
