HTC: The HTC One to hit U.S. “before end of April”

HTC just issued a pres statement on the upcoming availability of the HTC One smartphone.

HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews. The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan next week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait. – HTC

The old phrase,  “where there is smoke, there is fire” comes to mind, no? We had heard rumors that the U.S. model could slip the expected release time frame and this about wraps that up. On the other hand, HTC never did give us a solid time frame. For those in the UK and other markets, you will see the phone before us.

Wonder if HTC plans to extend the $100 trade-in credit a bit longer?

That’s some bull! HTC needs to step it up and punch those manufacturers in the balls and tell them that they are a priority! Damn was so excited, Peter Chao needs to get his ass fired too!
