AT&T reported to begin pre-orders of HTC One starting April 5

We’ve yet to hear from any of the major wireless carriers as to when the HTC One will be offered, but that doesn’t mean we’re completely in the dark. Today sees the the first glimmer of hope for the HTC One as it pertains to pre-orders and pricing.

According to Engadget, the HTC One will begin pre-sales on April 5 when it starts offering the 32GB model for $249.99 with a two-year a service agreement. As far as that exclusive 64GB version goes, we suspect it will fetch $299 with the same commitment. You know, similar to the One X+ from last year…

Don’t forget that you can score at least $100 in trade-up value should you send in your old smartphone, too!

With but a few days between now and then we should anticipate a press release or blog post from AT&T in the short term.
