Pantech Perception comes to Verizon on April 25

Verizon today announced its next Android smartphone, the low-cost Pantech Perception, arrives in late April. Priced at $99.99 with a two-year service agreement and $50 mail-in rebate, the phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with specs that closely resemble last year’s top Android’s. Details include a 4.8-inch 720p HD display, 16GB internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 4G LTE, and global roaming capabilities. Verizon advises that the Jelly Bean update will be arriving before long but declined to provided any time frame.

The Pantech Perception will be available starting from April 25.

    On paper that doesn’t sound bad. Too bad there’s no SD card slot – or was it simply not mentioned?
