Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile to offer Samsung Galaxy S 3 in June
Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile announced on Monday that both carriers will soon offer the 4G LTE-ready Samsung Galaxy S 3. Pricing and exact timing will be announced by the respective providers in short order however we expect each to release the smartphone in June.
Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S 3 are in line with what you’d expect and include a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLEDdisplay, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC support.
Boost Mobile customers can pair the Samsung Galaxy S 3 4G with one of the $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plans with Shrinking Payments, eventually getting to as low as $40 a month. For the money, customers get unlimited nationwide talk, text and picture messaging, and 2.5GB per month of high-speed data. Virgin Mobile subscribers can match the phone up with a no-contract plan for as low as $35 per month.
