Google announces new Gmail experience for desktop and mobile

Google today announced a new inbox for the Gmail desktop and mobile experience. Rolling out gradually over the next few weeks, users will find that the inbox is a much more streamlined and personalized layout.

Details, as expected, include new categories for social, promotions, and updates. Should you not like the way things look you can revert to a more classic design however, we get the feeling that this is the future of email organization.
