Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with AT&T friendly LTE receives the FCC’s approval

ATT_620x350Not a fan of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi only? Not to worry, as the opportunity to buy an LTE version could be coming soon. The FCC just gave their blessing on a version that includes an 850 /1900 GSM radio along with LTE bands 2, 4, 5, and 17 (all signs of hardware that plays well with AT&T’s network.)

Now don’t get too excited yet, as the FCC’s approval doesn’t mean that it will be released or that AT&T will announce a carrier version. There is hope however, so hang on tight. We will make sure to update you as soon as we know more!
