Sketch of rumored HTC T6 reveals an extra-large HTC One form factor

Not that we’re surprised by this but the sketch of the purported extra-large HTC T6 is online and it appears to be a bigger take on the HTC One form factor.

First posted on MobileLeaks, the design suggests that somehow HTC will be able to squeeze in a 5.9-inch display by only adding 3mm of length to the HTC One body. Yeah, if that sounds tough to imagine, you’re not alone. Nevertheless, the render keeps the aesthetics of the HTC One and the rumored HTC One Mini.

Really, it’s not so much about how the rumored T6 looks as it is about what’s under the hood. Early specifications call for a 5.9-inch 1080p HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor (2.3GHz), a 3300 mAh battery, the UltraPixel camera and BoomSound touches, and all of the other HTC Sense 5 goodies.

We could still be a ways off from seeing the T6 arrive, however we’re getting more excited by the week.  Do you guys think HTC can make a dent in the extra-large form factor area or is this Samsung’s market to lose as well?

Put 32GB min with options of 64GB and push the specs with 128GB, removable battery, SD slot, pen, and metal body… leave the plastic 16GB toys in the dust.

I posted my request that HTC manufacture a very large smartphone a couple of months back, on another site. Why, because I have owned the 6.1″ Huawei for about as long and am now wanting another big phone/very small tablet with a lot more features and considerably more grunt.
It will be a close call between HTC and Sony’s Xperia ZU. If Sony go with a glass back then HTC will get my money.
The Samsung Note 3 might blow them both out of the water. The next few mon5hs should be interesting to say the least.

I scaled this image on AutoCAD and the screen is only 5.09 inches. This must be a fake or possibly next year’s ONE.

Get rid of the buttons at the bottom, put them on screen and bump the device size up, don’t make it too wide.

I also agree with Jeff, 3GB min with 64GB as an option both with microSD. Heck HTC could even make the 64GB version something you buy directly from them unlocked and I would gladly do so.
