International version of HTC One receives Android 4.2.2

Back in May, we told you that HTC One will receive Android 4.2.2 update very soon. HTC One is one of the best rated Android phones right now, and Bloomberg even said that the Galaxy S4 is over-hyped and under-performing, where as the HTC One is the start of the art in Android. The only thing that was missing from the HTC One was Android 4.2.2, and now it is finally here as well.

htc-one-otaThe update is now rolling for the international version of the HTC One. Users in Taiwan were the first one to see the update, reported Android Central. A lot of new things are included in the update like a new lock screen style and widget, an enhanced launcher bar, quick settings, and a battery percentage in the notification bar.

No words on when the carrier version of the HTC One will receive the update, but we hope to see it sooner or later. Do you have an international version of the HTC One running on Android 4.2.2? If yes then tell us about it in the comment box below.
