HTC One Max rumored for September launch

htc_720

The rumored larger version of the HTC One is expected to arrive in September, according to new reports coming out of Mobile Geeks. Details for the handset are slated to include a 2.3GHz quad-core processor (Snapdragon 800), 2GB RAM, up to 64GB internal storage, and a 3200mAh battery.  Oh, and then there’s that 6-inch 1080p HD display. Hence, HTC One Max.

The September time frame is interesting as it falls right in line with Samsung’s expected debut of the Galaxy Note 3. Assuming things follow suit, Samsung will introduce its large-screen experience right around the time of IFA, perhaps on the evening. Last check, we have heard September 4 for the Galaxy Note 3.

We previously had rumors pointing to a July introduction for the HTC One Max but the September date sounds more realistic.

Doh. I was getting excited thinking it was the HTC One but just with a much bigger battery (and a slightly fatter profile to accommodate it). Any phone with a 6″ screen will be too big for me (even if it had 0% bezel). I’ll pass thanks.
