Verizon has an event scheduled for July 23 which could prove to be the official unveiling of the 2013 Droid series. Promising “the next generation of the most popular family of devices” it has the sounds of the Droid Mini, Droid Maxx, and Droid Ultra. It also happens to match up with an August 8 retail availability for at least one of the phones.

We’ve seen a number of leaks over the last few months and they seem to be increasing in frequency. Pictures, specs, commercial treatments, and other tidbits have been coming fast and furious as of late. It’s hard to imagine Verizon has any other “family” of devices to share.
